Before and After
Sometimes when I look at the two pictures, I hope I did the right thing. I have always loved houses that are whitewashed like this. When I doubt myself, I have to remember that the red brick was not very nice brick and looked dated--not good dated. And...there were white oil base stains all over the front that wouldn't come off. I am mostly happy with the way it looks--but then other times I remember that Mitch did call it "ghetto" when he saw the redo. And you know how I value his opinion.

I have your house as my screensaver at work and EVERYONE comments on it. They all say the same thing... "Is that your house?" "I love it, its a really nice house." and they are all guys, so you did good!
I am SOOO flattered, Jayne. Your screensaver--wow, that's status!

I love it! Looks terrific! I was just saying the other day how gorgeous I think whitewashed brick looks!
Just wanted to say love everything about your blog - especially the wallpaper!! love it love it love it. I went to the black apple and ordered three prints straight away! I hope they get here ok, as I live in Australia. I have to confess based on Kristi's explanation I think I might fall into the stalker category too, I do have a blog but there is nothing much on it, must do something about that!!!
