PUCK

Nicholas 2007 piano recital

I just had to document the proud moment I had this morning.  Nicholas and Natalie have an amazing piano teacher.  I absolutely adore this woman. She is kind, encouraging, and brilliant. We've only had her for about six months, but she is helping my kids excel by leaps and bounds.  So this morning we had our lesson, and she let Nicholas choose the next song in his "repertoire" that he wanted to play for her.  He chose PUCK   I am really thrilled he can play this piece, because I remember as a thirteen or fourteen year old being SO frustrated with this song and never did finish learning it.  After he played it for her, she praised him then said, "You know Nicholas, in all my years of teaching, you're my youngest student to ever play Puck." While he still has some work to do getting it up to speed, I was so proud of him at that moment. I just hugged him to pieces when the lesson was over.  Good moment.
