Rate MY Space

I am in the beginning stages of redecorating my living room and dining room. The dining room has been started, but I'm at a total standstill with the living room. So anyway, I'm talking to my mom about this a few weeks ago and she tells me I should look at HGTV's Rate My Space site. She thought I might see something I liked on there. If you haven't checked this out, you should; it is actually a lot of fun. I started browsing through the billions of rooms and thought, why not post a picture of my dining room on there, just to see how it worked. Well...talk about crazy. I put the picture up and literally within 2 minutes had 78 views! I couldn't believe it. Had I known so many people were actually going to look at it, I would've found a better picture; one without Halloween webs on the light and a drill on the table. I had no idea this site was so popular. There must be a million house ladies sitting around just waiting for new decor to pop up! It is a really cool concept, though. Plus, pretty fun to get nice comments about your house. Try it. You'll like it.

you need to come back over to my house...those plates are still not hung up. could be because one of them got broken and whoever did it, hid the evidence very well. we bought another from Twist...the best store in Portland.
