The Sart

I never watch TV anymore. I have truly become an internet junkie, and have honestly wondered if I have the beginning stages of addiction. I can hardly pass my computer without giving in to that magnetic pull and sitting for a minute. A minute? Right. I'm probably the last person on the planet to know about this site, but I love it. I bet my sisters haven't seen it. To me it seems obvious why millions of people look at it.

I love it for several reasons. First of all, I am so drawn to ordinary people, and the idea that everyone has a story. I love imagining where they just came from, where they are going, what kind of music they listen to, or how their homes are decorated. I could people watch all day, if I'm in a location I like and my seat's comfortable. No wonder I get into the blog thing and reality TV. Anyhow, this site is great. I so enjoy looking at individual style.

I love that these photos are candid, as far as I can tell. I feel so inspired to dig deep to achieve my own distinct style, every time I peek. I'm not sure I have what it takes, though. I have always doubted myself, when putting clothes together.

It's also cool that he hits such hip cities like New York, Paris and Milan. I don't understand how he does it. Maybe he has lots of people taking pictures for him. I'm going to investigate this. Anyway, take a gander, if you haven't already. It makes me realize that, like your house, anything goes if you love it and can pull it together. Not that that's an easy task.

Maybe if I get Nick hooked, he'll start finding inspiration in places other than Sams Club. One can always hope....

Do you look at the Sart?
Do you have a distinct style?

All I have is Jaynes hand-me-downs. I guess that is style enough. this stuff rarely interests me because unless I have those 6 lucky power ball numbers then i can't achieve how i want to dress anyway. I am with Nick. Qmode here I come.

"...this is the day...your life will surely change." That The The album and The Beautiful South "0898" changed my life forever. Out of seclusion and into the bliss.

Hi Jennifer - you have such a darling family and a great blog too!!! I'm not sure if I sent you an invite to ours or not (sorry)- we went private. If you're interested in checking it out (don't blame you if you're not!), then shoot me an email at bono40@aol.com. Carey & Ty

The sad thing is Jessica, Jayne and Jennifer secretly have a crush on the black guy. I don't know why but they do.

You may like this site, as well: http://www.tuebke.info/

It's not as pretty as Sart, but it's still fun - a little more antropological (is that even a word?) I think.

I just read about it and they described Sart as a hunter - walks around the city to find fashion, but this guy stays in the same place and shoots what comes to him.
