Handmade with Love
(so who cares)

Herein lies my first completed sewing project. Finished in November so I might surprise dearest darling Camille. Lovingly crafted deep into the wee morning hours of many a sleepless night with no sounds but the whirring of my machine, all so my dear lassie might hold something handmade with love in her tiny hands on Christmas morn.

I pressed the dear package close to my breast and quietly restrained myself as she opened Sleeping Beauty's walking horse, Sleeping Beauty light up Barbie, Sleeping Beauty DVD, Sleeping Beauty Dress-up, Candy Land, and Pinkie Pie of My Little Pony.

"MORE!" she cried.

"Yes, Camille there IS one more."

"Mommy made this one for you."

Ripping vigorously she made her way to the box and gingerly lifted aside the tissue to behold...
the masterpiece.....

"Dont want that!" she spewed, and carelessly threw it over her shoulder and into the air where lightly it landed, in a muddle, beneath the tree.

Same reaction with ALexis's snapfish scrapbook. I think she made it to page two. I still haven't shown the rest too her. Maybe it can be a regift for Valentines Day. toy overload, happens everytime. I didn't even have her open her stocking until the next night. I knew she wouldn't give a crap what was inside. Still didn't the next night.

LOL! Oh kids...
Jennifer.. It is sooo darling!
I love the rick rack, the buttons, the fabric.. Well-everything!!!

Oneday when she is older, all of the other toys will be gone, and she will have this treasured gift from her Mother. I would put it up until she is ready..And display this printed post with it. Someday she will appreciate it.
Maybe even next time you make cookies together.. :)

You are one talented Chick!
LOVE IT!!!!

That is REALLY good and really cute! I am so impressed. If you can do it, I can do it. I am going to take up sewing, for reals. Nothing is funnier than kids on Christmas in my opinion.

I love it - both the apron and the reaction. I'm sure it is something she will cherish.

It is a really cute apron. Some day when cooking with you in the kitchen she will be more grateful to have it.

Oh Camille...One day you will cherish that apron. But, until then SHAME ON YOU!!! ;)

Do you know how many little girls are still waiting for their mother to finish their aprons? Let's just say more than one are getting spills and splatters all over their freshly washed and pressed clothes. Why? Because their mothers don't care enough, that's why! But yours Camille, cared!
