STEP RIGHT UP!
I loved this book. It was book #2 that Jessica recommended and finished. It takes place during the depression and is a great depiction of life in the circus. The author does a wonderful job with the characters--they seem so real, and many of the events in the book are taken from real life accounts. I'm not gonna lie, it's got a few nasty parts, but I had a hard time putting it down. It's definitely a very captivating book and I enjoyed it a lot.
