Halloween in March

What is better than flying without children (sorry kids, love ya!)  Nick and I flew out yesterday for Vegas.  I find flying so peaceful if you don't have to hassle with chitlins.  We are going to the "Haunt Convention."  Nick is always looking for bigger and better ideas for the Haunted Forest, so we are here for the big event.  We had dinner with my parents last night at a really yummy Thai place then got to our hotel to find that all the rooms are suites--cool!

We have fun plans for tonight.  We come to Vegas all the time but rarely see a show, so tonight we'll be seeing Mystere at Treasure Island.  It's a Cirque du Soleil show, which I've wanted to see for a long time.  Some of Nick's "October Friends"  came out here too--a handful of his full-time staff at the MHF.  Last time we saw them they were, all four, dressed all in St. Patrick's green from head to toe with beers in each hand livin' in up  Vegas style.  Too funny.  Needless to say, we probably won't see them again for awhile.

I guess I better get moving--Nick is chomping at the bit to get to his HAUNT.

Have fun - sounds like a fun trip & I bet your family is loving it. :) Love that Thai place (if it's the one Jessica took us too) and we love Mystere too. Live it up!
