Tomorrow our whole family (on Nick's side) is loading the Calleva Ski Bus and heading to Jamestown, Yorktown, and Colonial Williamsburg.
Nick's dad, who used to teach at a private school in DC, ran a week-long trip to Williamsburg for middle schoolers every year for over thirty years. Now that the grandkids are old enough to enjoy it (most of them!) he's taking us on the same tour.
We've been there lots of times but I know I will learn the most with the "Chief."
He's given us all topics to research that we have to present to each other on the bus.

How great, especially the connection. I have a sister-in-law in Maryland we like to visit. We have done so much in that area but have yet to go to Williamsburg! I guess we need to make another trip.
You'll have a great time! I'm jealous!
Yeah that sounds fun. Have I ever been there? There are about a million memories and pictures I have in my head but I don't know what or where anything is. I would love to go. Cute pic of the kids.
