Summer on the Rise
Strawberries are out
the shirts come off
little boys disturb the peace.
Tomatos and cukes are chopped and salted
poison ivy shows no mercy.
Light fire to the grill
the red and white checks unfold
children beg can we stay longer
to sleep on the tramp, beneath the trees.
Bring. it. on.

I have never seen what actual poison Ivy looks like. Is it in your backyard?
I have never seen someone with a kitchen kind of like mine! Yay! I painted my cabinets white last year, and everyone freaked out. My style is not the norm out here.. It's nice to see that there is someone else in the world that has similar tastes in decorating! :)
