Paddlin' in the Pool

After a full day at the beach, it was fun to end in the pool. Plus, that counts as a bath right? It sure did (does) for my kids. They love paddling around the pool practicing their kayaking moves. I even gave my bow roll a shot. I managed to actually get it most times, too. I'm not sure I see much kayaking in my future though. I'm a wee bit chicken.

Little guy has learned his paddle role. Check it out.

Now that pool was really my stomping grounds. I keep saying it, but I really miss it there. I loved that house, and I loved being there.

Ahhhh, kayaking in the pool even when Nick tried to teach me how to wet exit in the Valley Mill I still almost drowned, I am not cut out for rough water.

I did something when i went under the water in a kayak. what is a wet exit?

Now you're talking Jek. Wet exit is when you squirm out of your boat in a panic--much more your level.

LOL... Yep Jek, definitely a Wet Exit...Sorry no paddle roll for you.

That is pretty cool. My husband is dying for a kayak, but I am hesitating as long as I can. I never thought to practice in a pool before.
