Bye Bye Brontosaurus

No one will be happier to hear my good news than my dad. Every time he sees me he can't help but comment on how ridiculous my phone is. "Even I've got a better phone than you" he says. It does seem wrong that a guy who was born in

this era

should be more technologically hip than his 70's born daughter. Anyway, last Thursday night some sweet angel must've tapped Nick on the shoulder cause he woke up and uttered, "Why don't you go get us iphones today." COME AGAIN? Is he serious? No matter.. he said it, no need to wait for reconsideration. Two hours later, Camille and I stood in line at the Apple store and 30 minutes after that, I had closed the gap between a decade of cell phones.
The first thing the guy said when he saw my horn was "WHOA!! Where'd you get that dinosaur? You don't see those anymore." Right you are sir. It's not every day you see a cell the size of a brick. You can imagine I was all grins as I signed on the line which promised that soon I would be texting with the best of 'em.

Now about my prehistoric car.......

now just answer the freakin thing more than you did with the last one. Congrats and kudos to Nick. He is the mind behind it all in that house.

I'm so jealous! If I didn't have such a good deal with Sprint, I'd switch over.

How good is the deal? For about $50 we get unlimited text, unltd internet, and 750 minutes to share. But boy that iPhone looks amazing!

Congrats! I really want the new iphone. I have the first one (from2 years ago). It still works (kind of) so until it dies, which could be any day, I just can't justify getting the new one yet. It does have some pretty cool features though. I hope you enjoy it.

You are SO funny with your wit and humor Jennifro!!

I would probably be like that as well with just "keep on going" with an old cell phone, only I personally don't have a cell phone.

You will LOVE your iPhones! We have an iPhone and the technology for them is second to none! It's amazing to be on a trip and type in an address and instantly have directions to get to your destination and to check your email/facebook on the go.

All of the "Apps" that they have for them are WONDERFUL and so user friendly!

We even have a set up in our car that we have our iPhone hooked to our car stereo and we listen to our I-tunes while driving and with our iPhone we can also listen to Pandora in our car as well. The possibilites are endless!

Have LOTS of fun with your "sleek" amazing piece of technology!!

Loved your cell phone dinosaur story. Sounds like me and some of my relics. I love anything connected to Apple. I am on my third Mac computer (2nd Mac Mini). Nothing like their products. Is there an IPhone in my future? To be continued.... Aunt Nancy

You have a relic? You crack me up.

The iphone would be too much technology for me. I still have no idea what twitter even is, and Chad has to show me how to use just about everything!!

And why do I love old relics? I am actually "hunting" for that first phone you have pictured there... Oneday one will be mine.. :)
