I'm a Zombie

Only my kids will fully appreciate the title. They play a game called, "I'm a Zombie" wherein they walk around the house moaning, "Iiiiimmmm a Zaaawwmmmbie" for endless amounts of time. That's it. That's the game. And today, that's me, stuck between the two worlds. Nick took the four to the forest to start the take-down and I can't decide what to do. Should I throw up the shutters of day and get something done, or disappear under the down and sleep away my whooping cough. I'm opting to stay in bed, awake. I have a hard time committing to either side--too sick for full-force but too charged by the solitude to sleep. What's wrong with me?
Oh yeah.... Iiiiiiimmmm a Zaaawwmmmbie."

I hope you are feeling well!! Wish I was there and could come and bring you mugs of honey and lemon tea, to soothe your throat and make you feel better!! Jade and Tracy have had tickles in their throats and we have gone through about 2 dozens lemons and about 5 pounds of raw honey trying to keep the plague away...so far it's working.

BTW...I just scrolled through the posts on your home page and I LOVED looking at the photos of your "Dream" kitchen ideas, I hope that your remodel went the way you had hoped it would and that your home is all put back together for the holidays!!!

It would be such a FUN Christmas present for us to be able to see photos of your remodel. Knowing you and your exquisite, unique and AWESOME taste you have in home decor I bet it turned out AAAAMMMMAAAAZZZZIIIINNNGGG!!!

I snuggled up by the fire last night, read through my cook book, marked some page with post in notes and found some recipes I would love to make up for my family. I still can't believe how sweet you were to send that to me!

Hope your holiday season is enjoyable. I always look forward to seeing all of your photos from your Thanksgiving get-togethers...it is Heaven on Earth, thinking of this sweet family all getting together dressed like Pilgrims and Indians and having a WONDERFUL time celebrating Thanksgiving in such a unique, one of a kind way. Your traditions inspire me to want to have more FUN traditions with my own family!

Hope things are going well with home-schooling. You are such a wonderful mom to do that for your kids!

Thanks for being so sweet and for your friendship...it is a cherished gift to me!
