Stream of Life

I know you've seen it but watch it again.
It makes the world feel small.
And kindred.

Here is a translation of the poem that was the original basis for the song.
Read it until you understand it is my suggestion.  "Beauty is truth, truth beauty."

Stream of Life
by Rabindranath Tagore

The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures.

It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers.

It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow.

I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment.

Watching this has put me in the HAPPIEST mood and now I have the energy to go and tackle getting my house back in order after being gone for 3 days this weekend. I'm going to put on some UPBEAT music and dance away as I clean!

I LOVE this video. My sister posted this a while back and I loved seeing all the different places he visited. It makes you feel small in this big world, yet inspires you to want to go buy a plane ticket and see all the wonderful places. Thanks for sharing the poem. I always wondered what the lyrics were.-Suzanne
